Ph.D. Program
A few full-time Ph.D. scholarships are available in the Department. Currently eight full time research students are working in the department in the Ph.D. program. The major areas of research are Material Science Photonic Crystal Fibers & Photonic Bandgap materials, Fiber Optics & Optical Communication, Semiconductor Thin Films Carbon nano-tube, Ferro electric Ceramics, Quantum Computing and Quantum Information theory.
