New ideas as antigens in human biology
 

The curriculum in Biotechnology has an optimal mix of basic and advanced science courses such as Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology, Genetics, and laboratory courses, allied engineering subjects such as mechanical workshop, electronics, electrical engineering. We strongly emphasize on computer course such as Computer in Molecular Biology, Practical Computer Concepts for Bioinformatics, Protein Bioinformatics, Phylogenetics & Comparative Genomics, Gene Identifications, and microarrays and Analysis.

We at Delhi College of Engineering wish to create opportunities for:

· Biotechnology companies to send their employees for customized, topic-specific training programs and workshops that can be run throughout the year.
· University faculty and students to participate in project-based research in an industrial state-of-the-art research environment, and perform the work under industrial research defined conditions.
· Members of the educational community, including local secondary and post secondary to become better informed about advances in biotechnology through lectures, seminars and workshops.
· Displaced workers from other service and manufacturing industries to retain for new employment opportunities in the biotechnology industry.
· The general public to acquire an awareness and understanding of biotechnology by attending forums and discussions of the ethical, legal and economic issues that pertain to biotechnology.

In future, we plan to focus on Marketing Aspects of Biotechnology, Managing Biotech Professionals, Legal Aspects of Biotechnology, and Creating a Biotechnology Enterprise by expanding our experience with the business aspects of biotechnology.
