Delhi Technological University (DTU) has been established by Govt. of Delhi by upgrading the erstwhile Delhi College of Engineering vide Delhi Act 6 of 2009 to incorporate it as a non-affiliating, teaching and research University at Delhi to facilitate and promote studies, research technology incubation, product innovation and extension work in Science, Technology and Management Education, and to achieve excellence in higher technical education..  To attract best of minds to ensure high academic standards and encourage research & innovation in area of relevance to industry and society, the University invites applications for appointment as Teaching-cum-Research Fellowship (TRF) in the University from the Academic Session 2010-11.   The candidates appointed as TRF will be allowed to register for Ph. D Degree in the University.

Number and Emoluments of Teaching-cum-Research Fellowship:

1. 20 TRF (Doctoral) with remuneration of Rs.20,000/- per month for the first two years and contingent amount of Rs.20,000/- per annum.  The remuneration will be enhanced to Rs.25,000/- per month during the 3rd year with the same contingent amount and extension for 4th year shall be given on the basis of assessment by Departmental Research Committee with remuneration as in 3rd year.
2. 05 TRF (Post Doctoral) with Rs.25,000/- per month as remuneration for the first two years with contingent amount of Rs.25,000/- per annum.  Extension for 3rd year shall be given on the basis of assessment by Departmental Research Committee with remuneration as in 2nd year.

Eligibility:

1.TRFs (Doctoral):

For Engineering:  Degree in M.E. / M. Tech. in the appropriate branch from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum of 60% marks and Degree in B. Tech/ B. E. with 75% marks or more marks in aggregate.

For Applied Sciences:  Degree in M. Sc. in the appropriate branch from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks and B. Sc. with 75% or more marks in aggregate.

2.TRFs (Post Doctoral):

For Engineering:  Ph. D Degree from a recognized University with 1st Class M. Tech Degree in appropriate branch.

For Applied Sciences:  Ph. D Degree from a recognized University with 1st Class M. Sc. Degree in appropriate branch.

Last Date for Submission of Application: The application form can be downloaded from the University website: www.dce.edu and submitted along-with a demand draft of Rs.1,000/- on or before 21.06.2011.

The Demand Draft should be in favour of “Registrar, Delhi Technological University” payable at ‘Delhi’.

Note:  If a grade point system is adopted, the GPA will be converted into equivalent marks as given below:
